Cross Country’s New Commit
St. Henry High School track and cross country standout Nathan Mark has committed to continuing his athletic and academic future at Spalding University.
Mark capped off his high school cross country campaign with a 22nd place finish in the class A State Meet, helping the Crusaders secure their 15th KHSAA State Championship in the sport. Mark will also make an impact on the track & field program as he is a state champion on the track as well, hoping to defend the 4x800m title this spring.
Coach Alessandro says, “Nathan is an exceptional student-athlete. He has proven that by performing at the highest level in the classroom, and through sport at St. Henry. We are excited to welcome our first athlete from one of the premiere programs in the state of Kentucky. He will do well here.”
He has personal best times of 17:11 for 5k, 4:39 for 1600m, and 2:05 for 800m. Mark plans to study Occupational Therapy at Spalding University.
