Friday the Spalding University Men’s Cross Country team captured the USCAA National Championship for the first time in the school’s history. The team traveled to Concord, NH along with the other 11 best teams in the country to compete in this race. Spalding dominated the race finishing with 22 points, 38 points ahead of the next competitor Dine College. Dine has not only won their share of National Championships but has controlled the championship for the past decade winning the last 9 titles. [Read more →]

With the fall season quickly coming to an end, the Spalding Golden Eagles athletic department has a lot to be happy about. This past weekend they saw their volleyball team advance to their 4th consecutive USCAA National Championship game. This weekend in Hillsboro, IL the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference held the men’s and women’s cross country championships. The field is made up of the 8 schools in the SLIAC that offer the sports of cross country. The men’ race is an 8k while the women compete in a 5K. [Read more →]
